Okay, first of all, let us be clear here ...we are talking about the Bible character, Adam.
No, this is not "the Adam" whom I am referring to ...we are not trying to hit the Bonanza with this one, just trying to be Biblically correct.
Job 31:33 ---"If I covered my transgressions as Adam, by hiding mine iniquity in my bosom ..." (Not a verse for this study.)
Romans 5:12 ---"Therefore just as sin entered the world through one man (referring to Adam), and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned ..."
I Corinthians 15:22 ---"For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall be made alive."
I Corinthians 15:45&47 ---"And so it is written, the first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit ...the first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven."
Matthew 19:4-5 ---"And He (Jesus) answered and said unto them, 'Have you not read, that He which made them in the beginning made them male and female', and said, 'for this cause shall a man leave his father and mother and shall cleave to his wife: and they shall twain be one flesh?'" (referenced from 2nd Chapter of Genesis)
Of course, the main verses about Adam first begin near the end of the second Chapter of Genesis, to which Jesus is quoting in the above verse, "Have you not read ..." And after Chapters 3, 4, & 5 ...the mention moves on, telling about Noah in Chapter 6, of which we are all descendants of.
Aside from that the verses that mention Adam: are either genealogies, or First Timothy 2:13-14, to which is not relevant to the study I'm doing here ...and being as the male and female are mentioned, let us not misinterpret why it is mentioned what is mentioned. Missing the point only divides further into confusion, and I believe there is enough confusion in much of this. I just wanted to first present a fair listing of what it is I am attempting to say.
As First Corinthians states, the first Adam ...and the last Adam (being Jesus). And as Jesus was not the last man ...what is it referring to??
As I listed before (whether in this discourse, or another), several verses in the New Testament of the Bible mention 'sons of God', referring to believers. Adam was placed in the Garden of Eden, and he was a believer. His sin did not negate that fact. Yet, his sin followed in line ...until there was One who did not sin. Of course, we know that reference is only true of Jesus.

Sin is a thing that is much talked about ...and it is defined in a wide range of ways. It is not limited to a failure to follow the Ten Commandments, though many times people focus on those as joining the dialogue as being able to discuss what is assuredly ...sin.
Jesus said, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first great commandment. And the second is like unto it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself."
God loves everyone, and wants us to treat others as we would like to be treated ...some people refer to this as the Golden Rule. Jesus told the story about the Good Samaritan. God tells us that to know love, we must know Him. And love isn't selective. We can pick and choose who we romance ...but we are to love all, and to treat them as we feel we would want to be treated.
Those who are missionaries don't usually use a 'fire and brimstone' delivery to a people who've never heard of God's love. We may expect more out of ourselves and fellow Christians ...but, the advantage of missionaries is that they don't have to dwell on the specifics of sin, as most of the so-called uncivilized people already have some concept of right and wrong, and know they've spent too much time in the latter.
On the other hand, a supposed more civilized society has often convinced themselves that they have a more in depth understanding of the quality of life ...and seem to be quite adept in changing the definition for themselves, while telling others that they need to focus more on being compassionate to the other person.

Sin is basically separating from God ...and people who don't know God, would find it confusing to think they are separating from our God whom they don't know that much about.
So, we should begin with the love that is easier to understand ...not telling them a lie, as not to offend them, but to tell them of the love of God. And we tell them of how our sin does not have to condemn us ...because Jesus died for us, in our stead.
We who have read more, realize that not only is sin separation from God ...but, sin is death.
And Jesus is life.
We all sin ...and any sane person knows they sin, but not everyone knows Jesus.
Since we did do a little roaming around in Romans ....let's go back there.
Romans 1:18-20 ---"For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God has showed it unto them. For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Supreme character; so that they are without excuse ..."
Romans 1:21-25 ---"Because that when they knew God, they glorified Him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man, and to birds and four-footed beasts and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves: who changed the truth of God into a lie ..."
I have a brother who is working in the capacity of helping to spread the Gospel message of Jesus. Years ago he was working for a government funded industry ...and it was not uncommon that decisions had to be made at a moment's notice. It was sort of military in that way. Arrangements were quickly made for him to get on a plane, and he was handed a pamphlet ...with the instructions that he had to manage to do the best he could to read its contents, as when he arrived he was supposed to be the professional authority on the subject. But, he was told not to worry ...as no one there would know much either.
There are those who study in the hope of learning something, and they do seem to know a great deal ....and furthermore, I am very grateful and feel privileged to have made their acquaintance.
I've also have been grateful and challenged to make the acquaintance of those who pretend to know ...and really go out on a limb.
I, myself, have been told I am difficult, challenging, and irritating at times ...so, not to disappoint, I am going to also go out on a limb, and perhaps once again live up to those expectations.
Most people do not make intentional public appearances or engage in group activities unless they want to, for some reason ...and I think it's fair to say that most people attend because they intend to interact.
Interacting is important.
Belonging is important.
Most everyone has roles that they've established, or which others just sort of assigned to them ...and most of us accept those roles. It is how we fit in.
Some people take on leadership roles, while others rather follow. And often the roles others seek for themselves are not the roles others encourage for them. This brings disappointment. And often if we are not satisfied with the role others appear to be assigning us ...we attempt to do something to change all that.
Some people's role is to act stupid ...and though when I try to be funny, people say I am not; it also happens to be true that when I try to be serious, that I am looked at as funny or stupid. I hope that this discourse is not perceived as either of those situations.
The average person (perhaps that's my problem; I'm not average) wants to contribute, participate in discussions, and appear intelligent. They want to be thought of as someone who has something to offer, and want to be accepted.
What is the best way to do that??
Most effectively, the best way is ...not to disagree.
I am a person who often seeks truth ...and though I never quite think that I am "all that and a bag of chips", there is a sense that popular opinion or tradition should not stand in the way, simply because it can become a bit uncomfortable if others disagree.
Yes, there are those who are so bold that they themselves feel they alone have a vision to the magnitude of feeling they want to change the entire U.S. Constitution. And they have no hesitation in saying so.
There are others who won't even change their socks if their baseball team is winning.
And there are those who are appalled at the suggestion of any change.
I don't feel I am a dual personality ...but, I find I am both ways. I think we should change, and we should absolutely not change.
I think we should absolutely not change the Bible ...but, we should work thoroughly to change ourselves.
Yet, in reference to the Bible ...to me, there is a big difference between changing the Bible, and wanting to correctly interpret that which many people find is not clear to them. There is enough that is very clear, and to discount those statements in the Bible ...would be the equivalent of changing the Bible. And that, I find totally unacceptable.
That being said ...

It's said that a picture is worth a thousand words, yet no words can describe some things. And it's also said that good things bear repeating ...so, how about repeating a picture?? At least it gives me a good sense for finishing here ...and quite accurately depicts a good deal of my motivation.
